OFFICIAL GAME DAY PROGRAM VS JUNE 25, 2019 Special Exhibition Game Forward Madison FC vs Minnesota United FC Tuesday, June 25, 2019; 7:00 p.m. CT Breese Stevens Field - Madison, WI Forward Madison will mark its name in Wisconsin soccer history Tuesday night at 7 p.m., hosting Major League Soccer club Minnesota United in a special exhibition game at Breese Stevens Field. This will be the first time an MLS team has played in Wisconsin in 14 years, and the first time ever that an MLS team has visited Madison. According to Forward Madison Managing Director Peter Wilt, the exhibition will be one of the marquee events of the FMFC’s inaugural season. “This match will be the highlight of the summer for many of our fans,” Wilt said. “The chance to see a Major League Soccer team play in Madison is extremely exciting.” Tuesday’s exhibition represents just one aspect of a partnership between Forward Madison and Minnesota United, which the two clubs announced in December. The Flamingos have also received several Loons on loan from Minnesota, and the teams are sharing scouting and technical resources. FMFC’s roster should be at full strength for the game, with midfielder Danny Tenorio having made his full return to the team during Saturday’s 4-1 victory over North Texas SC. With an important USL League One game coming up on Friday in Toronto, Head Coach Daryl Shore will likely look to tap into the depth of his squad, giving some players chances who haven’t come by lots of minutes so far.
