Cartledge Jack Pickering Cartledge South Australian public service Street CMG Chairman of the SA Housing Trust 1945-65; (1900-1966) Draftsman in charge of Consolidation of Statutes SA 1959-65; Assistant Parliamentary Draftsman 1926-59. Guided the construction and development of the satellite town of Elizabeth. Grosvenor Marjory Millicent Halligan Commonwealth public service Street (nee Grosvenor) MBE Confidential stenographer and typist to three (1900-1995) Australian prime ministers. One of the first public servants to be transferred to Canberra, initially serving Prime Minister Stanley Bruce for two years and then Prime Minister James Scullin. Personal secretary to Prime Minister Joseph Lyons from 1932 until her marriage in 1936 to Mr Reginald Halligan who was appointed Acting Administrator of Norfolk Island.
