There are leisure centres, parks and a castle; the Brecon Beacons are close-by; numerous local golf courses include Abergavenny, Monmouth (Rolls) and Newport (Celtic Manor), the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal flows nearby; and there are numerous walks and rides through the surrounding countryside.
