Individual Event Entries must be made online by Wednesday30May 2018 (23:59hrs GMT). No late entries will be accepted. The Entry Fee of INR 7,000 must be paid in advance alongside any hotel bookings made. This fee is not payable for the four Men’s squad players of competing teams as it is included in the team entry fee(INR 7,000 is approximately equivalent to US $110). Entries must be paid in advance by bank transfer. The entry fee is not refundable in the case of withdrawal after the entry deadline. The guarantee of accommodation is provided only for reservations made by the indicated deadline of 30 May 2018. Please also note that room types are also subject to availability. The organisers stipulate that rooms may not be available if bookings are made after this deadline. Please note that the Hyatt Regency is the Primary Championship Hotel. Bookings will be made in order of receipt with later bookers being accommodated at the Radisson Blu. Both Hotels are 5* Star properties. Preferred Accommodation for Non-Team members, Families and Supporters is as per availability and will be booked at the discretion of the host. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 2 days of arrival will attract a charge of 100% of the first two night’s costs. TOURNAMENT PACKAGES: Entry Fee Individual Players: Entry Fee–INR 7,000 per person Hotel Accommodation (at Championship Hotel) Individual Players: Single/Twin Room–INR 8,500 per room, per night (approx. US$130), which includes daily breakfast. All prices include buffet breakfast and all taxes, shuttle transport between the hotel and venues and venue access etc. ANTI-DOPING: 1. The Host Nation will implement compulsory anti-doping tests for any players participating in the World Championship on behalf of the WSF. 2. There shall be no doping before or during play in any competition under WSF Rules. 3. Any player refusing to undergo doping control and any player found guilty of a doping infraction will be dealt with by the WSF, which shall take disciplinary action in accordance with its constitution/regulations. CHAMPIONSHIP OFFICE: A Championship Office will be situated at the Indian Squash Academyand will be open from 09:00hrs to 21:00hrs from 16 July. CLOTHING AT FUNCTIONS: To ensure a professional squash image all Individuals and any accompanying officials must wear the following clothing at each of the functions where attendance is mandatory: Opening Ceremony: National Team Tracksuit for players (for march-in) Closing Dinner: Formal Team Clothing and or Jackets (not team tracksuit) CLOTHING REG - TV /STREAMING: In order for squash to be well presented on television and when streamed it is essential that the two players wear different colours and that if they change shirts during matches they keep to the colour they had on before. So two colours must be brought to championships. Here is the full World Championship Regulation L4. For any match covered by television, players’ clothing shall conform to the advertising regulations published and generally applied by the appropriate television authority of the Host Country; and for all matches that are broadcast and/or streamed both players must wear distinctly different coloured clothing – the colour must not change during a match. (Where colours are similar, the lower placed individual/team on the draw sheet must change colour). Failure to do so will result in an automatic UK£100 fine; payable by the player concerned CLOTHING: For these WSF World Individual and Team Championships - shirts or tops must carry a national identification title as defined below (World Championship Regulation L6). a) May carry the manufacturer’s normal trademark, symbol or name on one breast - the display to be contained within an area not exceeding 20 square centimetres in total and 10 centimetres in any one dimension. b) May carry identification, in areas clearly separated from each other, on the opposite breast to the manufacturer’s symbol and/or on each arm and/or on the back, as follows: i) Three sponsors’ displays - each to be contained within an area not exceeding 40 square centimetres in total and 10 centimetres in any one dimension; or ii) Two sponsors’ displays and one national identification badge - each contained within an area not exceeding 40 square centimetres in total and 10 centimetres in any one dimension. c) Shirts or tops must carry a national identification title as defined below. They may also include a player name on them. i) a) National Identification A national identification title, the whole to be contained within an area at least 200 square centimetres and not exceeding 300 square centimetres on the back of the shirt or dress. b) The player’s name may also be displayed within an additional area not exceeding 150 square centimetres. c) Lettering must be in one colour that strongly contrasts with the shirt colour. Examples of actual size dimensions may be found at Appendix L in the WSF Championship Regulations. ELIGIBILITY: Age requirements are defined as Under-19 years of age as at the final scheduled day of the Championship event i.e. born on or after 23 July 1999 (Individual Championship) and on or after 29 July 1999 (Men’s World Junior Team Championship). All players will be required to present their passports to the WSF on-site Technical Delegate to confirm eligibility before being permitted to compete. This can be done at any time during 17 July at the Championship Office. All players must be eligible to represent a Full Member Nation of the WSF and have an activated SPIN Registration. All designated officialse.g. player / team managers and coaches must also have an activated SPIN Registration (but coaches are not required to have a WSF Coach qualification). ENTRY NUMBER: WSF World Championship Regulations X4 & X5 extract: Men’s (Regulation X4): There will be a maximum of 6 players from an MNF that has entered the Team event; and a maximum of 2 players from an MNF that has not entered the Team event. Women’s (Regulation X5) There will be a maximum of six players per MNF. EVENTS: The championships shall be played under the current WSF Rules of the Game and the WSF World Championship Regulations. For the individual events the women players will play out the event on a Monrad basis(all positions played out as there is no following Team Championship), whereas the men will play plates on a knockout basis, except that in both events there will not be a 3 / 4 playoff. Plate events will be held as follows to offer all male players a minimum of three matches whenever possible: Plate: For First Round losers in the Main Draw Classic Plate: For Second Round losers in the Main Draw Consolation Plate: For First Round losers in the Plate All players are automatically entered in the different plates unless they advise the Championship Director that they do not want to be included immediately after losing their matches. Any player who does not withdraw within 2 hours of losing and fails to arrive to participate in the Plate, excepting for medical reasons, will face possible disciplinary action. EYEWEAR: All participants in World Junior events and players aged under-19 in all other WSF Championships are required to wear WSF Certified protective eyewear throughout the Championship in accordance with the following World Championship Regulation: G3. MNFs through their Team Managers must ensure that all their Juniorplayers (under 19 years of age) wear protective eyewear (manufactured to an approved national safety standard) properly over the eyes at all times during practice and match play. It is the responsibility of the individual player to ensure that the quality of the product worn is satisfactory for the purpose. The list of WSF Certified Eyewear allowable at the time of participation can be viewed on the WSF website.
