NAO und NaO-Prozeß Texte zum Projekt „Neue antikapitalistische Organisation“ hrsg. von http://naoprozessdoku.blogsport.eu/ Band III: Antwort von TaP auf die Bilanzpapiere von Micha Prütz / Micha Eff (Ex-NaO Berlin), Manuel Kellner (isl), Lars (RSB), Micha Schilwa und 13 Ko-AutorInnen aus verschiedenen Städten – mit einem Vorwort von systemcrash 2 Vorwort Ca. ein halbes jahr, nachdem die NAO (Berlin) für aufgelöst erklärt wurde, entstanden mehrere papiere, die sich um eine bilanz dieser organisationsinitiative bemühten. obwohl grundsätzlich nichts gegen solche bilanzpapiere spricht (sondern eher alles dafür), er- staunt doch etwas der zeitpunkt [*] dieser texte. denn alles, was in den papieren gesagt wird, war auch schon bekannt zu der zeit als die NAO noch existierte. hätte man sie in dieser situation veröffentlicht, wären sie ein beitrag zur diskussion um den ‚richtigen kurs’ gewesen; und hätten damit einen, wenn auch begrenzten, sinn erfüllt. jetzt, wo die NAO nur noch ein ‚toter hund’ ist, hinterlassen diese papiere einen schalen beigeschmack der selbstrechtfertigung und selbstbeweihräucherung. aber immerhin erfüllen sie insofern noch einen positiven sinn, als sie der äussere anlass sind für dieses kleine ‚buch’ über den „NaO-prozess“ und die „NAO (Berlin)“ (zur terminolo- gie siehe s. 5 unten / 6 oben), das den vorteil hat, dass der historische ablauf korrekt dar- gestellt wird und man die inhaltlichen streitpunkte in diesen chronologischen kontext ein- ordnen kann. denn eine (nachträgliche) legendenbildung (wie sie insbesondere das papier der „14“ betreibt) nützt ja nun wirklich niemanden etwas (ausser dem vermeintlichen seelenheil der autoren, aber auch dieses wäre letztlich auf sand gebaut, also illusionär). -

The Hellenic Parliament is comprised of 300 Members who are directly elected by the citizens under a combination of voting systems. Voting in Greece is compulsory. The main functions of the Parliament are to vote on legislation (which can be introduced by Government ministers, individual Members or political groups in the Parliament, in accordance with the constitution) and to exercise democratic control over the activities of the Government and other state agencies. Elections normally take place every four years, but early elections may be called by the Prime Minister at any time. Early elections are also foreseen by the Constitution in the case of loss of confidence to the Government following a relevant vote in Parliament, or in the case of inability to elect the President of the Republic. 2. Codebook 2019 Chapel Hill Expert Survey
Codebook 2019 Chapel Hill Expert Survey May 2020 Version 2019.3 This dataset provides the data for the 2019 Chapel Hill Expert Survey on the positioning of 277 political parties on political ideology, European integration, and policy positions in 32 countries, including all EU member states.1 The survey also incorporates parties in Iceland, Norway, Switzer- land and Turkey. The survey was administered between February 2020 to May 2020 to 421 experts specializing in political parties and European integration in one of the countries considered.2 The Chapel Hill expert survey was conducted by Ryan Bakker, Liesbet Hooghe, Seth Jolly, Gary Marks, Jonathan Polk, Jan Rovny, Marco Steenbergen and Milada Anna Vachudova. The CHES team gratefully acknowledges research assistance from Stephanie Shady and Courtney Blackington. Codebook Chapel Hill Expert Survey—Trend File 1999 − 2019 November 2020 Version 1.0 The dataset 1999–2019_dataset_means.dta combines data from the 1999, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2019 Chapel Hill Expert Surveys.1 In the 1999 survey, 116 experts estimated positioning of 143 political parties in the 14 largest EU member states (EU-14). For 2002, 250 experts evaluated 171 parties in the EU-14 countries plus 10 prospective EU members. For 2006, 235 experts provided evaluations on 227 political parties on European integration in all EU member states (24) apart from Luxembourg, Cyprus, and Malta. For the 2010 survey, 343 experts evaluated 237 political parties on European integration, ideology, and issue positions in all EU member states, except for Luxembourg, Cyprus and Malta. For the 2014 survey, 337 experts evaluated 268 parties in all EU countries, including Luxembourg, Malta and Cyprus. For the 2019 survey, 421 experts evaluated 277 parties in all EU countries, including Luxembourg, Malta and Cyprus.2 In papers or publications utilizing this dataset, we ask users to refer to the dataset as the 1999−2019 Chapel Hill Expert Survey trend file and cite documentation as follows: Bakker, Ryan, Liesbet Hooghe, Seth Jolly, Gary Marks, Jonathan Polk, Jan Rovny, Marco Steenbergen, and Milada Anna Vachudova. 2020. “1999 − 2019 Chapel Hill Expert Survey Trend File.” Version 1.0. It reports on cross-national comparative findings generated by data collected from 30 European countries as to the state of populist parties in one calendar year (2019) and provides an extensive qualitative overview of the national cases. The article shows that while populist parties are preponderantly on the right, there is a significant degree of ideological variation among European populism. The data show significant diversity in their electoral performance but also that populist party participation in government is no longer a marginal phenomenon. The article ultimately elaborates on the various types of positions on European integration – from soft/hard Euroscepticism to lack thereof – and discusses the implications of their affiliation in the European Parliament. Political Science C37 (Group 3: Greece ± Libya) Country: Greece ± Democratic Type of Democracy: Representative Variety: Established Politics of Greece takes place in a framework of a parliamentary representative democratic republic, whereby the Prime Minister of Greece is the head of government, and of a pluriform multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the Hellenic Parliament. Since the restoration of democracy the party system is dominated by the conservative New Democracy (ȃİĮ ǻȘȝȠțȡĮIJȚĮ - Nea Dimokratia) and the socialist Panhellenic Socialist Movement (ȆĮȞİȜȜȘȞȚȠ ȈȠıȚĮȜȚıIJȚțȠ ȀȚȞȘȝĮ - Panellinio Sosialistiko Kinima). The Judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature. The 1975 constitution, which describes Greece as a "presidential parliamentary republic," includes extensive specific guarantees of civil liberties and vests the powers of the head of state in a president elected by parliament. The Greek governmental structure is similar to that found in many Western democracies, and has been described as a compromise between the French and German models. The prime minister and cabinet play the central role in the political process, while the president performs some executive and legislative functions in addition to ceremonial duties. A escolha do tema do presente estudo deveu-se, naturalmente à realização, no ano passado, da eleição para o Parlamento Europeu e, também pelo facto destes países viverem atualmente uma conjuntura idêntica, provocada quer pela crise económica, quer pela situação financeira. -

Ongoing concerns include corruption, discrimination against immigrants and minorities, and poor conditions for undocumented migrants and refugees. Key Developments in 2019 In 2019, the Greek Ministry of Education decided that school records and diplomas will no longer include the religious affiliation or citizenship status of students. The government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis government passed legislation scrapping academic sanctuary, which protected academic freedom of ideas for faculty and students, but which the new government argues is primarily used as a cover for lawlessness. The main opposition party, the Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA), accused the government of attacking democracy itself with this law. Following more riots in overcrowded refugee camps, the new prime minister vowed to expedite the asylum process and send back to Turkey those who do not qualify for asylum on the basis of the 2016 agreement designed to curb the westward flow of migrants and refugees.
