Speaker 1: (girl shaking head) You gotta love those Lords A-Leapin’.

Speaker 2: (sarcastically) Well, don’t let your charitable holiday spirit carry you away!

Speaker 3: I think those six geese-a-layin’ looked really uncomfortable.

Speaker 4: Hey! Who came up with this “Twelve Days of Christmas” stuff anyway?

Speaker 5: Yeah! I thought Christmas lasted only one day a year!

Speaker 6: (like a union representative) Twelve days minimum! Absolutely twelve days! Don’t let anyone talk you into anything less than twelve days!

Speaker 7: That’s right! I need at least twelve days to get ready for the big event itself! I mean there’s cookies to be baked, snowmen to be built…

Shopping Girl: (interrupting, frantic and bossy) Shopping! I’ve got to go SHOPPING!

Speaker 8: I’ve got to learn the bell part for the Christmas caroling.

Speaker 9: I haven’t even begun my exhaustive letter to Santa with my list of requests.

Shopping Girl: SHOPPING! I’ve GOT to do my SHOPPING!

Speaker 10: O.K. But if we’re going to celebrate twelve full days of Christmas, we’d better get crackin’! This place doesn’t look like Christmas at all!

Shopping Girl: Get outta my way kid! I’ve got presents to buy! First and Second Days of Christmas

On the first day of Christmas we hang the decorations

Deck the halls with boughs of holly Fa la la la la la la la Tis' the season to be jolly Fa la la la la la la la

Rocking around the Christmas tree let the Christmas spirit ring Later we'll have some and we'll do some caroling

Everybody Rock!

Speaker 15: Well, things are getting to look a lot like Christmas around here.

Speaker 16: I like the garland and the Christmas trees best.

Speaker 17: Wait a minute, wait a minute! We forgot to decorate the tree!

All: Oh my gosh! etc.

Speaker 18: Well, who's job was it anyway? Speaker 19: Johnny's name was on the list. Speaker 20: Where is Johnny? Has anyone seen him?

All: (give various answers)

Speaker 21: I remember! He was looking for a bedtime snack. Speaker 22: Well, it would help if we all could sing we could get this tree decorated in no time!

On the second day of Christmas we trim the Christmas tree

Oo oo oo O Christmas tree O Christmas tree, how lovely are your branches

O Christmas tree O Christmas tree, how lovely are your branches

Your shining star and twinkling lights Will warm the hearts of us tonight

{Let's light the tree}

O Christmas tree O Christmas tree How lovely are, lovely are, lovely are your branches

Speaker 23: Today is the last day to get our letters to Santa if we expect him to get them by !

(Music starts)

Third and Fourth Days of Christmas

On the third day of Christmas we wrote to

Christmas comes but once a year with presents 'round the tree When you write to Santa Claus take this tip from me When Santa Claus gets your letter you know what he will say

"Have you been good, the way you should, on every single day?" When Santa Claus gets your letter to ask for Christmas toys He'll take a look in his good book he keeps for girls and boys

Speaker 24: Dear Santa, I have been very good this year, except for that unfortunate incident with the tack on Susie's chair.

Speaker 25: Dear Santa, Surely you wouldn't hold it against me that I broke a relatively thin baseball bat over Johnny's head...since he had it coming anyway!

He'll stroke his beard, his eyes will glow and at your name he'll peer

It takes a little time you know to check back one whole year!

When Santa Claus gets your letter You know what he will say,

"Have you been good, the way you should on every single day?" When Santa Claus gets your letter, to ask for Christmas toys, he'll take a look, in his good book, he keeps for girls and boys.

When Santa Claus gets you letter, I really do believe you'll head his list

Speaker 26: Here's my letter!

You won't be missed

Speaker 27: Don't forget my letter! by Santa on Christmas Eve.

Speaker 28: Wait a minute! Wait a minute! I've got a great idea! This is the new millennium! I'll text my letter to the North Pole!

On the fourth day of Christmas we send a Text to Santa

Now listen up I'm gonna TEXT TEXT the facts TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo! TEXT I'm gonna text the facts TEXT the facts to Santa Claus

Santa don't you see I've taken the greatest care (YO) There's nothing on my list I think that I can spare (YO) And even tho' my friends think I don't have a prayer (YO) A mighty mighty mack these are just the facts SEND!

I'm gonna TEXT TEXT the facts TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo! TEXT I'm gonna text the facts TEXT the facts to Santa Claus

Sixth and Seventh Days of Christmas

On the sixth day of Christmas let's play out in the snow

With our hats on our heads to keep out the chill We will slide on our sleds down the side of the hill What fun we'll have when the cold winds blow in the snow Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow

With our cold weather comes and there's ice on the pond we will glide we will slide through the trees and beyond so take my hand and away we'll go in the snow Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow

As fast as we can go Look out below! We'll land in a drift and catch the lift and ride up nice and slow

When the whole world is white like a beautiful dream When snow flakes take flight and icicles gleam then come with me and away we'll go in the snow Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow

When the cold weather comes and there's ice on the pond we will glide we will slide through the trees and beyond so take my hand and away we'll go in the snow Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow snow snow snow, snow, snow in the snow!
