S Next for Him,Dalton Und Seine Bengals Sichern Sich Ihr Playoff Ticket NFL investigation into deflated footballs ongoing The NFL says its investigation into whether the New England Patriots used under-inflated footballs in the AFC championship game is ongoing after a report Tuesday night claimed the league found 11 balls were not properly inflated. Troy Vincent, the NFL’s executive vice president for football operations, told The Associated Press that the ”investigation is currently underway and we’re still awaiting findings. Vincent was responding to an ESPN report that cited anonymous league sources saying 11 of the Patriots’ 12 allotted game footballs were under-inflated by 2 pounds per square inch of air. We have been in complete cooperation with the league and will continue to do so – Patriots Sprecher Stacey James Weshalb stellen unterbefüllte Bälle ein Problem bzw. einen Regelverstoß dar? If any individual alters the footballs, or if a non-approved ball is used in the game, the person responsible and, if appropriate, the head coach or other club personnel will be subject to discipline, including but not limited to, a fine of $25,000.

  • Do Joe Flacco, Ju'wuan James and Kareem Jackson Make The
Do Joe Flacco, Ju’Wuan James and Kareem Jackson make the Broncos better? By Ryan O’Halloran Denver Post March 13, 2019 Fifteen things about the first two days of the NFL’s free agent negotiating period: 1. The “legal tampering” window should be abolished. First, the name is stupid. Second, it serves no purpose. The league should announce the date and time when signings and trades can be executed and every team can start from there. No negotiating window. No players potentially backing out on verbal agreements (like linebacker Anthony Barr did Tuesday, returning to Minnesota after committing to the Jets). No having to talk about “intends to sign with,” “agree to terms,” and other mumbo jumbo. 2. Did the Broncos get better by trading for quarterback Joe Flacco and agreeing to terms with right tackle Ju’Wuan James and cornerback/safety Kareem Jackson? Easy question. Tough answer. 3. The Broncos did upgrade at quarterback — we’ve made that clear. They definitely got better at No. 2 cornerback (Jackson instead of Bradley Roby). Right tackle is a tough one. When healthy, Jared Veldheer was more than serviceable. But in making James the league’s highest-paid right tackle (four years, $51 million), general manager John Elway is expecting improvement for at least the next three years. 4. OK, the Broncos are better at three positions. But does that move them up a rung into the AFC West and into wild-card contention? Not yet. Unless something develops out of thin air, they’re waiting to address tight end until the draft and should also add a cornerback, a cover linebacker, a safety and multiple offensive linemen.

  • NFL: Browns March Down Saints in Home Opener
NFL: Browns March Down Saints In Home Opener Author : Robert D. Cobb CLEVELAND, OH - For Cleveland Browns fans, Monday's are so much better after a victory, especially in the home opener. It took the Browns ten years, but Cleveland got the job done against the New Orleans Saints, 26-24 with some last-minute heroics by handful of players. Here are my thoughts and observations from the nail-biting contest. Flipping the Script: We've all seen this story before. To steal a Butch Davis line, they play "their guts out", get a lead near the end of the game, only to blow it by the time the clock hits zeros. Am I right? It was all hands on deck for the orange and brown in the final quarter. It wasn't one player that had to make a play, it was a team refusing to be the same old same old. For once, things went the Browns' way and not the other teams'. Brian Moxie: His stat line may not be that great (24/40 for 204 yards & 1 TD), but Brian Hoyer showed poise in the pocket, toughness, and heart on Sunday. But, the most important stat of them all - Hoyer did not turn the ball over to the Saints. Hoyer is now 4-1 as a Browns starter and has not thrown an interception in 139 attempts. That's tops in the NFL right now. Coaching Staff Praise: There is one huge piece of information that needs to be understood. In the past, the Browns were known for burning through their time outs in the second half.
