To that end the priests in the Cathedral will now be using hand sanitizer before touching the bread or wine. For our safety, the Church of has advised that intincting, or dipping the wafer into the wine is unhygienic, and it has therefore been banned. For the time being, receiving from the chalice is still permitted. Christ is present equally in both bread and wine, and you are asked to only receive the host if you have a cough or cold. We will be reviewing the situation as it develops, hoping further spread of the virus is contained.
