Tomchei Shabbos Matzah Collection Please drop off your "free" 5 pound supermarket boxes of matzah at the side door by the driveway of 421 Churchill Rd, corner of Sussex. Come early and often as we drive once again to collect over 1,000 pounds to distribute to the area needy.

NORPAC MISSION The NORPAC Mission to Washington will take place on Wednesday, May 13th. Early bird registration rate ends on March 8th. Please join the most important single day of advocacy for stronger US-Israel relations!

Annual Biur Chametz Annual Big Bread Burn, community- wide event at the Jewish Center of Teaneck’s parking on Cedar Lane, Friday, April 3, from 9:30 – 11:40 A.M.ALL ARE WELCOME. Chametz for burning should be placed ONLY in paper bags. Please do not put anything in plastic bags. This annual event draws from an impressive cross section of the community. It is co-sponsored by Heichal HaTorah, Beth Aaron, Young Israel of Teaneck, Netivot Shalom, Ohr Saadya, Bnai Yeshurun and Rinat Israel and other community organizations.

Ample parking for cars is available on the surrounding streets and the Teaneck municipal lot as the Center’s parking lot will be closed to accommodate the event.

It is appropriately named the Annual Joy and Al Amsel Memorial Biur Hametz Program. The event serves as a memorial tribute to the Amsels who for over three decades invited community members to gather in their backyard around their fire pit on Erev Pesach to share in the ritual act of Biur Chametz. The Teaneck FIRE SAFETY TRAILER and a Fire Department Engine Truck will be on hand along with personnel from the Fire Department to provide a complimentary fire safety learning experience for young children and their families. Kosher for chocolate lollypops will be distributed along with Junior Fire Chief hats for the children.

The Jewish Center of Teaneck is located at 70 Sterling Place. The Jewish Center is a modern Orthodox full service Synagogue-Center with daily, Sabbath and holiday religious services as well as recreational activities in its athletic wing equipped with an indoor pool and regulation gymnasium and a fully equipped Fitness Center. Lamdeinu- Spring Semester Join Lamdeinu for our exciting new Spring semester beginning at the end of January. Register for Parshanut HaMikra, , Parashat HaShavua, Megillat Esther, Yirmiyahu, and Great Thinkers of the Twentieth Century. We are also offering an evening class in Megillat Esther and a morning yoga class. All classes will cover new topics and new students are welcome to join any class. Refa'enu- Refa'enu's peer-led mood disorder support groups in the Ben Porat Yosef Building at E. 243 Frisch Ct. in Paramus, NJ. Groups will be divided between those with a disorder (depression, bipolar, and/or related anxiety) as well as for their loved ones. Future dates will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.
