TEAM STATS TEAM NOTES Avalanche The Avalanche wrapped up a five-game road trip, finishing 2-3-0 on the journey. The Avs are in a stretch that sees them play 10-of-12 contests on the road. Colorado returns home for a back-to-back set against Shots: 37 San Jose before embarking on another five-game trip from May 3-10.

Power Play: 0-4 Colorado has played seven of its eight regular-season games against Vegas and is now 3-3-1 against the Golden Knights in the series. The clubs will wrap up their eight-game set on May 10 at T-Mobile Arena. Kill: 3-4 INDIVIDUAL NOTES Faceoffs: 51% Nathan MacKinnon extended his streak to 15 games, setting a new career high and surpassing Dougie Hamilton for the longest stretch in the NHL this season. MacKinnon has totaled 26 points (9g/17a) during his 15-game run and is the first Avalanche player to record points in 15 straight games since ’s Golden Knights 20-game streak in 2006-07.

Shots: 26 Devon Toews scored his seventh of the season to reach a new career high and eclipse his previous best of six goals during the 2019-20 campaign. His seven markers rank first among Avalanche defensemen, and Power Play: 1-4 he leads all Colorado blueliners with a +23 rating and ranks third in points.

Penalty Kill: 4-4 Carl Soderberg registered an assist for his first point with the Avs since being acquired by the team on April 12. He has a total of 152 points (57g/95a) with Colorado in his career. Faceoffs: 49% Kiefer Sherwood recorded a career-high eight hits, the most by an Avalanche player in a single game this season and most since Gabriel Landeskog had nine hits on Dec. 18, 2019 at Chicago.
