The Avs are in a stretch that sees them play 10-of-12 contests on the road. Colorado returns home for a back-to-back set against Shots: 37 San Jose before embarking on another five-game trip from May 3-10. Penalty Kill: 4-4 Carl Soderberg registered an assist for his first point with the Avs since being acquired by the team on April 12. He has a total of 152 points (57g/95a) with Colorado in his career. Faceoffs: 49% Kiefer Sherwood recorded a career-high eight hits, the most by an Avalanche player in a single game this season and most since Gabriel Landeskog had nine hits on Dec. 18, 2019 at Chicago.
