MALIN LODGE Malin Lodge

Malin Lodge is the hub of the Maybury ‘village’ situated along Maybury Road in East Hull. It was built in 1995 and officially opened a year later and provides 48 sheltered housing flats, including one ground-floor flat adapted for use by disabled persons.

Malin Lodge has a communal lounge that is well used by residents for daily gatherings. In addition, there are three assisted disabled persons’ shower rooms, a salon used by the visiting hairdresser and a guest room.

There is also a Pop-In Centre for residents, at nearby Hebrides Close. A full range of activities and events is available for residents of Malin Lodge and Maybury village, such as coffee mornings, raffles and tombolas, parties and day trips.

In all, Maybury Village has 76 bungalows, 20 flats and a Scheme Manager’s house. The Scheme Manager is available during the normal working week to offer assistance to the residents of both Malin Lodge and Maybury Village, and to enable them to live full and independent lives in their own homes.
