The University of Wisconsin, which presents the Festival, continues to be a major Meet the filmmakers. source for research and development in areas related to agriculture and food science. See their films. The UW Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems, working with local farmers on s PM 3ATURDAYS sustainable agricultural programs, is co-presenting some of the films in this series, as is the Nelson Institute’s Center for Culture, History, and Environment. That center created the Madison “Tales from Planet Earth” in 2007, and will return in November 2009 WISCONSIN FILM FESTIVAL • MADISON • APRIL 2-5, 2009 WWW.WIFILMFEST.ORG • 877.963.FILM with a second edition. wpt.org (Somewhere in the planning of this year’s Wisconsin Film Festival, chickens became a kind of informal theme — there are an awful lot of them.
