I do question how this is a good representation for the City? Criminals that were justifiably killed by police now have a mural to help us remember how good the actions of these people were for the community? Let us teach our children that they too can be remembered by committing acts of crime and putting police in a position to kill them. How is this not the politically motivated message that is being stated with these murals? I am not trying to be insensitive, but rather genuinely confused as to why these murals were put up and are now being protected by the city? Is the city stating that remembering criminals is more important than remembering true heroes of the community? Those that give donations, provide service, donate money, or volunteer countless hours helping those in need. Okay, so the city hates police and what they stand for? No? Then why not have a mural for all the fallen police officers around the state that have been murdered by people like these in the murals? The one guy that held his "friend" hostage with a knife back in July, let's ask his "friend" if we should have let his friend kill 11/22/2020 21:59 Joseph Biden him so the cop wouldn't have had to shoot and kill.
