This manual specifically addresses using VoiceOver gestures and VoiceOver paired with the Bluetooth keyboard. This manual will review the VoiceOver gestures and teach the Bluetooth keyboard commands that are commonly used to drive Google Docs, Google Drive, Dropbox, Pages, Mail, Safari, and iBooks. These apps will be expanded to include how to edit, highlight, copy, paste, digital note taking, and other commands so that students who are visually impaired and blind (VIB) can complete homework assignments and assessments. -

Voice, Speech, and Acting Faculty Email: [email protected] (email preferred) Office: online Course Description This online course provides an introduction to the field of voiceover for actors and curious individuals. We will cover acting for voiceover, home studio setup, mic technique, and recording and editing. Through analyzing, performing, and critiquing voiceover copy, we will explore two maJor areas of voiceover: commercial and audiobook narration. Leading figures in the field will be studied to uncover their technique and approach. Industry standard learning materials (including podcasts) will be reviewed and a plan will be built to continue voiceover work after the class. This online course will focus on preparing and sharing individual assignments. Through repeatedly sharing our work and learning from others, we will develop foundational voiceover skills and reinforce the course’s learning obJectives. Attendance for the full duration of the class time is mandatory. Course Objectives On the completion of this course students will: ● Gain an acting technique to bring voiceover copy to life ● Gather a knowledge of the types of voiceover, understand the differing demands for each type and identify key players in those fields ● Learn how to record and send industry acceptable auditions to potential clients, pay-to- play sites, and weekly workout groups. ● Build a voiceover plan to develop your voiceover skills, utilize industry standard resources, and begin to work toward entering the voiceover market. I’ve been fortunate to produce voice overs and educate aspiring voice actors for more than 20 years, and it is an experience I continue to sincerely enjoy. While there are always opportunities to learn something new, I feel that true excitement comes from a decision to choose something to learn about. As is common with many professions, there’s a lot of information out there about the voice over field. The good news is that most of that information is valuable. Of course, there will always be information that doesn’t exactly satisfy your specific curiosity. Fortunately for you, there are always new learning opportunities. Unfortunately, there is also information out there that sensationalizes our industry or presents it in an unrealistic manner. One of my primary goals in developing this publication is to introduce the voice over field in a manner that is realistic. I will share information based on my own experience, but I’ll also share information from other professionals, including voice actors, casting professionals, agents, and producers. And I’ll incorporate perspective from people who hire voice actors. After all, if you understand the mindset of a potential client, you are much more likely to position yourself for success. -

The Film Crew There are many, many positions in a film crew. Here are the most significant ones. Producer A Film Producer creates the conditions for making movies. The Producer initiates, coordinates, supervises, and controls matters such as raising funding, hiring key personnel, and arranging for distributors. The producer is involved throughout all phases of the film making process from development to completion of a project. Executive Producer An Executive Producer (EP) is a producer who is not involved in the technical aspects of the filmmaking process, but has played a crucial financial or creative role in ensuring that the project goes into production. Executive Producers are responsible for the overall quality control of productions, as well as financing and marketing. Production Manager The Production Manager supervises the physical aspects of the production (not the creative aspects) including personnel, technology, budget, and scheduling. It is the Production Manager's responsibility to make sure the filming stays on schedule and within its budget. The PM also helps manage the day-to-day budget by managing operating costs such as salaries, production costs, and everyday equipment rental costs. The PM 1 directly supervises the Production Coordinator. Production Coordinator The Production Coordinator is the information center of the production, responsible for organizing all the logistics from hiring crew, renting equipment, and booking talent. The PC is an integral part of film production. Screenwriter The Screenwriter, or Scriptwriter, may pitch a finished script to potential Producers, or may write a script under contract to a Producer. A Writer may be involved, to varied degrees, with creative aspects of production. -

Summary To enhance our forensic analysis tool, BlackLight 2020 R1 includes: • Apple Keychain Processing • Processing iCloud Productions obtained via search warrants from Apple • Additional processing of Spotlight Artifacts • Updated Recent Items parsing for macOS In Actionable Intel • Parsing AirDrop Artifacts • Updates to information parsed for macOS systems in Extended Information • Added support for log file parsing from logical evidence files or folders • Support added for Volexity Surge Memory images • Email loading process improved for faster load times • Support added for extended attributes in logical evidence files • Newly parsed items added to Smart Index (Keychain, Spotlight, and AirDrop) NEW FEATURES Apple Keychain Processing Keychains are encrypted containers built into macOS and iOS. Keychains store passwords and account information so users do not have to type in usernames and passwords. Form autofill information and secure notes can also be stored in keychains. In macOS a System keychain, accessible by all users, stores AirPort (WiFi) and Time Machine passwords. The System keychain does not require a password to open. Each user account has its own login keychain. By default, each user’s login keychain is opened with the user’s login password. While users can change this, most users do not. -

A case in point: in May 1961, Vincente Minnelli was preparing the production of Two Weeks in Another Town (1962), part of which he planned to shoot in Rome. Hollywood flmmaker Jean Negulesco communicated with Minnelli, ofering some advice on work- ing in Italy, where Negulesco had directed portions of Tree Coins in the Fountain (1954) and Boy on a Dolphin (1957) and at the time was producing his next flm, Jessica (1962): I would say that the most difcult and the most important condition of mak- ing a picture in Italy is to adapt yourself to their spirit, to their way of life, to their way of working. A small example: Tis happened to me on location. As I arrive on the set and everything is ready to be done at 9 o’clock—the people are having cofee. Now, your assistant also is having cofee—and if you are foolish enough to start to shout and saying you want to work, right away you’ll have an unhappy crew and not the cooperation needed for the picture. But if you have cofee with them, they will work for you with no time limit or no extra expense.1 Negulesco’s letter underscores a key lesson that Hollywood moviemakers learned overseas when confronted with diferent working hours, production practices, and cultural customs.
