3 ON 3 CROOKSTON STREETBALL TOURNAMENT

PLEASE SHOW GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AND MOST OF ALL HAVE FUN!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR PARTICIPATING!!!! *Please register 45 min before first game played. The first possession will be determined by coin toss.

Games will be 25 min running time limit or up to 25 whichever comes first.

If the score is tied at the end of running time, play will continue and the first team to score wins.

Each team is granted 1 timeout, being 1 minute in length. No timeouts can be taken in the last 5 minutes of the 25 minute game.

A player can only sub in on dead ball situation.

The ball must be checked in on a MADE Basket behind the two point (3 pt.) line.

On any change of possession the opposing team must cross ONE foot over the two point line before advancing to the hoop.

Fouls will be recorded. Players will not foul out. No free throws will be shot.

Scoring:

 Scoring by 1 and 2’s  1 point for a shooting foul inside 2 point line will be awarded  2 points for a shooting foul outside 2 point line will be awarded

Scoring On and after the 6th team foul or during the last 2 minutes of the game  1 point and the ball non-shooting fouls  1 point & ball for shooting foul inside the 2 point line  2 points & ball for shooting fouls outside the 2 point line *****THESE SCORING RULES ARE IN PLACE TO PREVENT INTENTIONAL FOULS AND FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PLAYERS!****

Stalling: Due to the above fouling rules stalling can only occur within the last minute of a game. Outside of one minute your team will get one warning and on the second warning it will be an automatic turnover and a change in possession will occur.

Tie Breakers are determined by 1. Wins 2. Head to Head win 3. Total Points Allowed at the point of determining the tie breaker 4. Total Points Scored at the point of determining the tie breaker Good Luck and Have a Safe Trip!
