Dear Music Center Patrons, Supporters and Guests,
We've been thinking a lot about you. All of us at The Music Center hope this email finds you and your families well. Like you, we're heading into uncharted territory and taking it one step at a time, trying to determine the best course of action while keeping our focus, as always, on the health and safety of our patrons, staff, artists and communities.
As you know, as a result of the "Safer at Home" order issued by Governor Newsom, the County of Los Angeles, Mayor Garcetti and other local mayors to help mitigate and contain community transmission of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we now extended the closure of our theatres (Ahmanson Theatre, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mark Taper Forum and Walt Disney Concert Hall) through at least April 19, 2020. All events, public gatherings and education programs scheduled at The Music Center during this time have been cancelled or rescheduled. We are encouraging all ticket holders to contact the respective resident company and/or box office for more detailed information.
• For Center Theatre Group • For LA Opera • For LA Phil • For Los Angeles Master Chorale • For TMC Arts/Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center • For REDCAT
Please note that all restaurants on our campus remain closed; Go Get Em Tiger is open with limited hours for takeaway orders.
While we regret this unfortunate circumstance, it's critical for us to do our part to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. We will continue to keep you updated through this dynamic situation, including any updates to performances and events occurring after April 19, 2020.
During challenging times like this one, we believe more than ever there is room for connection, laughter and inspiration through the arts. We are starting to bring cultural experiences to you in a virtual format so you can continue to engage with The Music Center in ways that are both meaningful and safe. We want to hear how all of you are navigating this period as we move through it together. As we all strive to make the most of these moments, join the conversation on our social channels by following #WeBelieveInArts. Share with us and our community all the virtual arts experiences you've discovered and enjoyed. We are on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Now more than ever, the arts matter since they can connect us all and enrich our lives. When the future becomes more certain, and we can safely proceed with our normal operations and performances, we look forward to welcoming you back to The Music Center. We appreciate your continued interest and support.
Sincerely,
Rachel S. Moore President & CEO
