D1 Central – MIAA Wrestling Sectional Tournament AT Framingham High School Hello to all, The purpose of the email is to provide information to the participants of the D1 Central Sectional Wrestling Championships being held at Framingham High School, 115 A Street, Framingham MA Saturday 2/15/20 (school map is on next page). Please share all information with your coaches and parents. 2/13/20 Seeding Meeting Time: 6:00pm Location: Room A117 @ FHS, 115 A Street Framingham. Please enter through main entrance and take a right, the room is the second door on the right. Pizza and water will be provided, we have an open WiFi network, and you will have wireless access. 2/15/20 Tournament 7:30am- 8:00am Team Check In 8:00am Weigh Ins/Skin check Coaches Meeting will follow completion of weigh in’s time 10:00am Round 1 of Wrestling Begins *(Subject to start earlier)* Finals- 1st, 3rd & 5th place matches will be held simultaneously. These finals matches will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the previous round. (Coaches & Spectators please be to be ready we cannot provide a set start time for the Final Matches) **Locker rooms will be provided to teams if needed. Athletes are not to leave belongings in the stands as the bleachers are SOLEY meant for seating for spectators** Admission: Students $7 || Adults $12 (Cash Only) All parking lots can be entered from A St. All Buses will park in the Main lot, please see the attachment below. Cars parked illegally are subject to fines and towing. Concession stand will run all day, cash only. Only 3 coaches are allowed in for free. Only current MIAA passes will be accepted. Term I report cards were issued on Health/PhysEd 3 November 3 to all students. The Spring 2017 MCAS results were mailed this past week. Students in the Class of 2018 who are recipients of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship Math 3 recently received notification via postal mail. The John and Abigail Adams Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program that provides a tuition waiver for up to eight semesters of World Language 4-5 undergraduate education at a Massachusetts state college or university. To be eligible, Fine/Performing 6 students must score in the Advanced category on one of three high school MCAS tests in Arts English Language Arts, Mathematics, or STE (Biology, Chemistry, Introductory Physics or Technology/Engineering), score in the Proficient or Advanced category on the remaining two Special Education 6 high school state assessment tests, and have a combined MCAS score on these assessments that ranks in the top 25% in their school district. For more information on the John and English 7 Abigail Adams Scholarship click here. If a student in the Class of 2018 did not qualify for the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship, you may quality for the Stanley Z. Koplik Certificate of Bilingual/ESL 8 Mastery Award. This scholarship also provides a tuition waiver a tuition waiver for up to eight semesters of undergraduate education at a Massachusetts state college or university.
