FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CHAMPIONSHIP CONTACT Sunday, April 4, 2021 Morgan DeSpain Assistant Director of Championships and Alliances 317-917-6505 2021 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships Advancing Teams and Individual Competitors INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA announced today the teams and individuals who have advanced to compete in the 2021 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships. The championships, hosted by Texas Woman's University and Knight Eady, will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, April 16-17. The women’s gymnastics championships consists of eight teams and four all-around competitors (who are not on a qualifying team). The top two teams and the top all-around competitor from each of the four regionals have advanced to the national championships. In addition, the top event specialist at each regional also advanced to the national championships (in her specific event) who were not part of a qualifying team or the all-around qualifiers. The top two teams from the Athens and Morgantown regionals will compete in the first semifinal and the top two teams from the Salt Lake City and Tuscaloosa regionals will compete in the second semifinal. The Sooners finished with a final team score of 198.3375, which ranks second all-time in championship final history (following only the record set by Oklahoma in 2017). LSU was runner- up (197.8250), followed by UCLA (197.5375) and Denver (197.0000). Maggie Nichols of Oklahoma captured her second consecutive all-around title finishing with a 39.7125. Claiming the individual event title on vault with scores of 9.95 were Auburn’s Derrian Gobourne, LSU’s Kennedi Edney, Oklahoma’s Nichols and UCLA’s Kyla Ross. Sarah Finnegan of LSU took home the bars title with a 9.95. Michigan’s Natalie Wojcik was the champion on beam with a 9.95. In another four-way tie and with a score of 9.95, Florida’s Alicia Boren, Denver’s Lynnzee Brown, Oklahoma’s Brenna Dowell and UCLA’s Ross claimed the title on floor. Team semifinal and individual competition will be conducted in two sessions Friday, April 16, at 1 and 6 p.m. Eastern time. The top two teams from each semifinal will advance to championship final competition Saturday, April 17, at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time. Both semifinals will be broadcast live on ESPN2, and championship final competition will be broadcast live on ABC.     ANNUAL REPORT – INTRODUCTION Dear Bruins, Our department enjoyed an exciting and memorable year both on and off the field of competition in 2016- 17. Ten of our athletic teams finished among the Top 10, nationally. Of even greater significance, 126 of our student-athletes earned their degrees from this university in June and officially embarked upon the next chapter of their lives. Throughout the 2016-17 academic year, student- athletes earned Director’s Honor Roll accolades (3.0 GPA or higher) more than 980 times. In addition, our Graduation Success Rate (GSR) and Academic Progress Report (APR) numbers remained high across the board and among the best in the nation. UCLA’s overall GSR of 86% stands two percentage points higher than the national average of 84%. Our football team compiled the second-highest GSR among Pac-12 schools with 88% (the national average for FBS schools is 74%). In addition, six of our teams – men’s water polo, women’s basketball, women’s golf, softball, women’s tennis and women’s volleyball – had a GSR of 100 percent. Sixteen of our 20 sports programs had a GSR of 80 percent or higher. I’ve said it before and I’ll say As a department, we always pride ourselves on team practice facilities for our football, men’s basketball it again – our student-athletes not only meet these accomplishments, but it’s absolutely worth noting and women’s basketball teams, and I know that the expectations, but they almost always exceed them. It’s several outstanding individual efforts by our hard- coaches and student-athletes of these teams are a testament to their work ethic and to the support they working student-athletes.

DEBTOR’S OBJECTION TO COMMITTEE’S 2004 MOTION USA Gymnastics, as debtor and debtor in possession in the above-captioned chapter 11 case (the “Debtor” or “USAG”), objects to The Additional Tort Claimants Committee Of Sexual Abuse Survivors’ Motion For An Order Pursuant To Bankruptcy Rule 2004 Directing Production Of Documents And Materials From USA Gymnastics [Dkt. 519] (the “Rule 2004 Motion”). INTRODUCTION On April 24, and May 8, 2019, the Sexual Abuse Survivors Committee (“Committee”) served the Debtor with two overly-broad document demands seeking a wide-range of documents without any time limits whatsoever. In total, the Committee sought over 102 categories of documents. As the Committee concedes in its Rule 2004 Motion, in slightly over a month, in three separate productions, USAG has produced documents or provided information in response to most of the categories of documents that the Committee sought. (Rule 2004 Motion ¶¶ 16, 22-23.) Of 2 the 102 different demands, only 14 remain unanswered. 1 The last four digits of the Debtor’s federal tax identification number are 7871. On Saturday night, the Sooners did just that. With a 197.6750, the No. 1-seeded Sooners secured the 2016 NCAA Championship inside Fort Worth Convention Center. The title was their second all-time, with the first coming in 2014. The Super Six appearance was OU’s sixth in the last seven seasons and in each of those, OU has now finished within the top three nationally. The victory made history in the gymnastics world as Oklahoma became the first school in history to win both the women’s and men’s national titles in the same season. Earlier on Saturday night, the men’s team rolled to the 2016 crown in Columbus, Ohio. “What do you say? One of girls this morning, when she woke up, tweeted, ‘It felt like Christmas Eve last night—I couldn’t go to bed anticipating today,’ It turns out that’s exactly what it was,” 10th-year Oklahoma head coach K.J. Kindler said. “Christmas Day is always a wonderful day when you’re a kid. Today was just an amazing and wonderful day for these ladies and our entire team. They had to fight for it.
