Oklahoma student-athletes cumulative GPA for Spring 2018 is 3.13. This is a record, and it extends the streak to 13 semesters with a student-athlete cumulative GPA of over 3.00.

BAKER MAYFIELD Quarterback Baker Mayfi eld became the most decorated player in program history, winning OU’s sixth Heisman Trophy, the Maxwell Award, Davey O’Brien Award, Manning Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award and was named Player of the Year by the AP and Sporting News.

He joins the ranks of other OU Heisman winners including Billy Vessels (1952), Steve Owens (1968), Billy Sims (1978), Jason White (2003) and (2008).

GAYLORD FAMILY - OKLAHOMA MEMORIAL STADIUM SOUTH END ZONE The new 132,000-square-foot south end zone complex contains the athletic training room with X-ray room, a 32,582 square-foot weight room, a 70-yard indoor running track, Gatorade stations, meeting rooms and rehab space in the same building as coaches’ offi ces and on the same grounds as practice and game fi elds.

OU’s massive new locker room, built in the shape of a football, includes over 100 lockers featuring person- alized graphics for every individual player, as well as a place for alumni who return home.

The new Red Room is an expanded version of the old one and is dressed up with graphics utilizing the infi nity pattern that is a signature throughout the new facility.

Also completed is the new Barry Switzer Center Touchdown Club Legacy Lobby, which features trophies and interactive exhibits from every era of Oklahoma Football.

GRIFFIN FAMILY PERFORMANCE CENTER The Griffi n Family Performance Center is an approximately 18,400 square-foot addition to the Lloyd Noble Center. Former Sooner great and current NBA star Blake Griffi n and former tennis letterwinner Tim Headington have made leadership gifts towards the project which has allowed construction to begin. This facility was completed in spring 2018.

The addition will provide our student-athletes with the ability to strength train in a world class setting along with cutting edge methods for performance testing and assessment.

RANSOM SHORT COURSE The Ransom Short Course is a world-class team training facility named for alumnus Jerry Ransom and his family in appreciation of his gift. CAPITAL PROJECTS CAPITAL

The facility is a four-hole short course sitting on 11 acres, located directly west of the new entrance drive to the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club. This area will give OU teams the ability to emulate shots using all 14 clubs in their bag. Multiple bunkers will protect the four (4) greens. Each green will have a diff erent style, allowing players to prepare for any type of course they may play. The greens will also be shallow, so the golfers can improve their distance control. The Ransom Short Course will be transformational in recruiting the best student-athletes and preparing current student-athletes for the next level.

JORDAN BRAND Jordan Brand continues to expand both on the court and on the field and in November welcomed the University of Oklahoma to the family, making it just the third collegiate football program to represent the Jumpman on the gridiron.
