1 The Last Four World Powers 2 3 First Section 4 5 What this book is about 6 This book not only tells, but also demonstrates, 7 what moment in time we are living according to 8 prophecy. I used the verb “demonstrate” because 9 this book is not an exposition of “fantasies”, 10 “thoughts” and “feelings”. It is an exposition of 11 facts and events that you can verify yourself. 12 Here I demonstrate how we, in 2012, are living 13 during the rise of the fourth of the last four world 14 powers of Human history. England, Russia and 15 China have already come into existence as world 16 powers, and a United Europe, as a world power, 17 looms in the horizon. 18 If you want to verify it, just read this book in the 19 proper sequence, without skipping, since initial 20 facts are the basis for subsequent ones. Otherwise it 21 will not be understood. 22 The book has three sections. The first one, 23 which starts on this page, demonstrates that the 24 prophecy of Daniel 7, given over 2400 years ago, 25 refers to England, Russia, China and the European 26 Union. 27 The second section, which starts on page 83, 28 demonstrates how the traditional interpretation of 29 Daniel chapter 7 prophecy, is intrinsically incorrect 30 since it was stated. 31 The third section, which starts on page 104 gives 32 us a fraternal exhortation, narrates how having been 33 raised atheist I became a believer, tells how I 34 realized the correct interpretation of the prophecy of 1 35 Daniel Seven, teaches what are prophecies and for 36 whom have they been written, and teaches how to 37 discuss opposing view points efficiently. 38 * 39 40 41 Demonstration that the prophecy in Daniel 7 42 belongs to the present and the period prior to the 43 return of Jesus Christ. 44 Afterwards in this book I will demonstrate why 45 the prophecy in Daniel 7 cannot be referring to 46 the old empires of Babylon, Persia, Greece and 47 Rome, as has traditionally been interpreted. This 48 interpretation is incorrect. I will also demonstrate 49 why this cannot refer to any other four past 50 empires, or any single empire of the past. 51 Now I will proceed to demonstrate that this 52 prophecy is referring to the contemporary world 53 powers of Great Britain, Russia, China and the 54 European Union. 55 * 56 57 58 Let’s read the full text of the Prophecy of the 59 chapter 7 of the Biblical book of Daniel 60 Before anything else, lets read Daniel chapter 7 so 61 we can have it in mind while reasoning about this 62 prophecy. 63 64 “1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of 65 Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of 66 his head upon his bed, then he wrote the 67 dream, and told the sum of the matters. 68 2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision 69 by night and behold, the four winds of the 2 70 heaven strove upon the great sea. 3 And four 71 great beasts came up from the sea, diverse 72 one from another. 73 4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's 74 wings. I beheld till the wings thereof were 75 plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, 76 and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a 77 man's heart was given to it. 78 5 And behold another beast, a second, like to 79 a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and 80 it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the 81 teeth of it, and they said thus unto it: Arise, 82 devour much flesh. 83 6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a 84 leopard, which had upon the back of it four 85 wings of a fowl; the beast had also four 86 heads; and dominion was given to it. 87 7 After this I saw in the night visions, and 88 behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, 89 and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron 90 teeth; it devoured and brake in pieces, and 91 stamped the residue with the feet of it; and it 92 was diverse from all the beasts that were 93 before it; and it had ten horns. 94 8 I considered the horns, and behold, there 95 came up among them another little horn, 96 before whom there were three of the first 97 horns plucked up by the roots; and behold, in 98 this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and 99 a mouth speaking great things. 100 9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, 101 and the Ancient of days did sit, whose 102 garment was white as snow, and the hair of 103 his head like the pure wool; his throne was 104 like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning 3 105 fire. 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth 106 from before him; thousand thousands 107 ministered unto him, and ten thousand times 108 ten thousand stood before him. The judgment 109 was set, and the books were opened. 110 11 I beheld then because of the voice of the 111 great words which the horn spake; I beheld 112 even till the beast was slain, and his body 113 destroyed, and given to the burning flame. 114 12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they 115 had their dominion taken away; yet their lives 116 were prolonged for a season and time. 117 13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one 118 like the Son of man came with the clouds of 119 heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and 120 they brought him near before him. 14 And 121 there was given him dominion, and glory, 122 and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and 123 languages, should serve him. His dominion 124 is an everlasting dominion, which shall not 125 pass away, and his kingdom that which shall 126 not be destroyed. 127 15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the 128 midst of my body, and the visions of my head 129 troubled me. 16 I came near unto one of them 130 that stood by, and asked him the truth of all 131 this. So he told me, and made me know the 132 interpretation of the things. 133 17 These great beasts, which are four, are 134 four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. 135 18 But the saints of the most High shall take 136 the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for 137 ever, even for ever and ever. 138 19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth 139 beast, which was diverse from all the others, 4 140 exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, 141 and his nails of brass, which devoured, brake 142 in pieces, and stamped the residue with his 143 feet. 20 And of the ten horns that were in his 144 head, and of the other which came up, and 145 before whom three fell; even of that horn that 146 had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great 147 things, whose look was more stout than his 148 fellows. 21 I beheld, and the same horn made 149 war with the saints, and prevailed against 150 them, 22 until the Ancient of days came, and 151 judgment was given to the saints of the most 152 High; and the time came that the saints 153 possessed the kingdom. 154 23 Thus he said: The fourth beast shall be the 155 fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be 156 diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour 157 the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and 158 break it in pieces. 159 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are 160 ten kings that shall arise; and another shall 161 rise after them, and he shall be diverse from 162 the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 163 And he shall speak great words against the 164 most High, and shall wear out the saints of 165 the most High, and think to change times and 166 laws; and they shall be given into his hand 167 until a time and times and the dividing of 168 time. 169 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall 170 take away his dominion, to consume and to 171 destroy it unto the end. 27 And the kingdom 172 and dominion, and the greatness of the 173 kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be 174 given to the people of the saints of the most 5 175 High, whose kingdom is an everlasting 176 kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and 177 obey him. 178 28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me 179 Daniel, my cogitation much troubled me, and 180 my countenance changed in me, but I kept the 181 matter in my heart.” 182 * 183 184 185 186 Facts that show that the lion of the 187 prophecy represents Great Britain 188 189 Since Great Britain lost its empire, or more 190 precisely since the British Empire became the 191 British Commonwealth, you do not hear much 192 about the “British Lion.” However, those of us who 193 lived in the 1930s and 1940s remember the many 194 references made to England being symbolized by a 195 lion.
