Web Editor / Copywriter m/w (full time), English Native – Beach Majors Company

Sports, events, communication and media – this mix makes your heart beat faster? Effective immediately we, the Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series, a joint venture between and the Austrian Beach Volleyball promoter himself, Hannes Jagerhofer, are looking for a Web Editor / Copywriter (English Native) to support our international communications department.

Your tasks / responsibilities:  Create new content (eg.: news articles) from scratch for swatchmajorseries.com and evolving and editing existing content.  Prepare and publish content to the live site using the CMS.  Work with the Social Media team to make best use of community and social media content, sites and tools, creating an integrated user experience across all content types.  Cooperate with internal stakeholders (Digital Communications/Social Media, IT etc.) and coordinate all agendas for the website.  Content management and quality assurance, to include CI, metadata, user journeys, SEO and cross-linking strategies.  Monitor traffic, user journeys, click paths and conversions to evaluate performance of content and pages, providing reports for stakeholders.

Your profile / experience:  English Native Speaker  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Significant online copywriting and web editorial experience  Knowledge of internet, IT, web usability principles and search engine optimisation techniques  Strong team player  Significant problem solving and decision making skills  Experience of working with a variety of content formats including video/audio, podcasting, wikis, blogs, email, mobile, social networking and user generated content
