SURFSIDE sprinted clear soon after the start, set the pace in hand while racing slightly off the rail, maintained a clear advantage to the top of the stretch, relinquished the lead to the winner in upper stretch then continued on well while drifting out in the late stages to clearly best the others. HERITAGE OF GOLD allowed to settled early, dropped back after going a half, raced well back while saving ground on the turn then closed late along the inside to gain a share. CRIMPLENE (IRE) was bumped slightly at the start, checked in tight while rank in the early stages, raced just off the pace for a half, was in traffic while between horses midway on the turn, lodged a mild rally to threaten approaching the quarter pole but couldn't sustain her rally. LU RAVI trailed for a half after being pinched back at the start, raced well back while saving ground to the turn, closed the gap in upper stretch but couldn't sustain her bid. BEAUTIFUL PLEASURE stalked the early pace from outside, raced just behind the leader while three wide to the turn, drifted out at the top of the stretch and steadily tired thereafter. RIBOLETTA (BRZ) settled in the middle of the pack while four wide for five furlongs, raced within striking distance to the turn and lacked the needed response when called upon. SPEAKING OF TIME raced well back for six furlongs, swung wide in upper stretch then failed to mount a serious rally. JOSTLE broke inward causing crowding at the start, failed to threaten while racing wide throughout. Copyright 2009 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved..
