Quincy Ave. in Aurora. Grab your dancing shoes and don’t miss a beat. The mellow, easy country-rock sounds of Firefall, coupled with the group's penchant for pop melodies and high-pitched harmonies, produced a series of successful hits in the late ‘70s, including the Top Ten hit “You are the Woman.” Other popular songs include “Just Remember I Love You” and “Strange Way.” The group recorded its self-titled debut in 1976; it and its follow-up, Luna Sea, both went gold, and their third album, Elan, went platinum. Firefall performs Saturday, July 25. Up and coming country music artist Amy Scruggs is definitely becoming one to watch. Over the past year Amy has opened for country greats such as Clint Black and Eric Church. Her new single "Comin’ Home" written by Dave Adams and produced by Paul Mckenna is an anthem for the troops, veterans and their families. Enjoy Amy Scruggs perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the Fair.
