' Around Town Belle Frank Opens Art Exhibit by Dorothea Snyder '\.

Serene faces, tranquil beach scenes, flowers bunched in glass bowls and baskets, flowers that stream skyward, pitchers and windmills, liquid-like abstracts ... many motifs that depict the style of Belle Frank. A collection of her oils and watercolors opened in Gallery 401 at the Jewish Community Center last Sunday afternoon. Well wishers continually poured in throughout the two-and-a-half hour reception to view the diversified a rtist's paintings as well as to exchange warm embraces and appreciative words. Mrs. Frank has been painting in Rhode Island, New York and Florida for the past 16 years. Her show will run through July 15. Photos by Dorothea S nyder
