REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTANCY SERVICES)

IMPROVEMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES DELIVERY AT MULAGO HOSPITAL AND THE CITY OF KAMPALA PROJECT

The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) and the Nigerian Trust Fund (NTF) towards the cost of the improvement of Health services delivery at Mulago National Referral Hospital and the City of Kampala project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for the development of a Tele-Medicine system in Mulago National Referral Hospital and three Hospitals for Kampala Capital City Authority namely; Kawempe, Kiruddu and Naguru.
The services included under this assignment are aimed to develop a well-coordinated, user friendly, low cost and sustainable Telemedicine System for Mulago National Referral Hospital and the three KCCA Hospitals mentioned above.
The Ministry of Health now invites eligible consultancy firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultancy must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills etc.). Consultants may constitute joint- ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” May 2008 Revised July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
