Georgia Division Receives Thanks for Teacher Conservation Workshop

Mr. Lowrimore, I teach 6th-8th grade Gifted Science at Miller Magnet Middle School in Macon , GA. I wanted to thank you for sponsoring me so I could attend the Teacher Conservation Workshop this past June at the Charles Elliott Wildlife Center . Through your financial support, I was able to receive a wealth of classroom resources, and to also earn credits to maintain my teaching certification. During the workshop, we learned about forestry, the importance of the forest products industry to Georgia ‘s economy and how forestry practices can be used to enhance wildlife habitat. I am looking forward to integrating the concepts taught during the workshop into my classroom curriculum. This was the most useful, valuable workshop I have attended in all my years of teaching, and so I truly thank you for providing me with the opportunity to attend this workshop.
