Apple Classroom Directions

If you can't see a student’s iPad, try the following:  Check to make sure that the student’s Bluetooth is on

 Check that they are signed into their school iCloud account

 Check to make sure that they are signed into their school

iTunes account

 Make sure that the student’s Wifi is on District_iPad

 Send the student to me or Denise if none of these things

work

When you open Apple Classroom you will be able to see all of your students that are in your classroom. If you can't, follow the directions above.

There are two ways to see what your students are doing. One is the main view and the other is the screen view. You can switch between the two by clicking the “screen” button on the top of your dashboard.

If you want to control a specific student’s iPad, click on his name and you can see what he is doing as well as lock the iPad. When you want to unlock the iPad, click done.

From each child’s dashboard, you can control the iPad in many ways. You can open an app on the child’s iPad, AirPlay the student’s through your iPad, view the child’s screen, navigate the student's iPad and change the student's password if he forgets it.

To open an app on a child's iPad, click the app button and choose the app that you want to open on the iPad.

You can also put your student's into groups by app which opens them into a specific app. You can also lock your entire class.
