At Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, we specialize in creating meaningful recreation opportunities accessible for all. Our 2019 Spring/Summer Guide, is stuffed with over 101 experiences that are sure to keep your entire family engaged. Our city is truly an amazing place. For a bustling urban environment, there are countless ways to connect with nature. To the west, we have Gwynns Falls Leakin Park, the second largest urban forest in the United States. To the east, there’s Herring Run Park home to our $5 5k Series, guided-bike rides and camping. Yes, camping! And we can’t forget our 43 recreation centers. Our Campers look forward to a summer filled with academic enrichment, field trips, nature outings, sports and swimming. DATES TO REMEMBER • Camp is closed, Thursday, July 4 SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION Registration is available online and onsite at ALL recreation centers in the back directory on page 62.
