Yes, we too, are celebrating our 50th 2016-17 Trip List 3-6 year and we hope it will be a great one. You will be receiving your member gift along with your card, when you sign up. The gift will include on it our 50th Anniversary logo. I would like to give a huge thank you to Josh Ash, our Summer Lovin’ 4 member and master of social media, web master, along with logo designer. Josh did a great job with this celebratory logo for us. HHOF Induction info 5 In November, the Hockey Hall of Fame will welcome its newest Inductees: our own, Eric Lindros, Sergei Makarov, Pat Quinn (honored posthumously) Advertising 7 and Rogie Vachon. By Lois Witulski Joe Fisher VICE PRESIDENT Wow! The Big 5-0! You see, the Flyers and the PFFC aren’t the only ones Theresa Carney-Kestenholz turning 50 this year, I am too! I was truly born to be a Flyers Fan! I have TREASURER loved the Flyers as long as I can remember - those thrilling Stanley Cup years, Tricia Walter the unbelievable 35 game unbeaten streak in 1979-80 and the great playoff runs in the mid-80’s turned me into the dedicated fan that I am today. 50 is a RECORDING SECRETARY big reason to celebrate and the Flyers are planning many special nights during Stacey Squilla their Golden Anniversary season to honor the great players of the past 50 years. I’m looking forward to an exciting year both on and off the ice. Volume 26, Issue 1 Page 3 PFFC / Phans of Philly Road Trips 2016-17 season NASHVILLE 12/2 TO 12/5/2016: Three seasons ago we did a Flyers weekend in Nashville, and couldn’t get enough of the city. So we are doing it again, but this time with more knowledge of the city to make this trip even better than the last. It is sure to be an awesome weekend in one of the most fun cities to visit. Friday December 2nd we'll fill a plane with ORANGE & BLACK as we take off first thing in the morning from Philly non-stop into Nashville. This gives everyone a whole extra day to take in what Nashville has to offer (and there's much to do…) We will be staying at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Nashville, a perfect location and walking distance to everything you would want to see. All of the nightlife on Broadway Ave and Bridgestone Arena is a less than 10 minute walk. Maybe an early Holiday Gift for yourself???
