GARY PUCKETT BIO Gary Pucke6 and The Union Gap had six consecu?ve gold records and sold more records in 1968 than any other recording act ...Including The Beatles. Gary is one of a few ar?sts whose first five releases went gold. Not even Elvis accomplished this. Mr. Pucke6 played a command performance at the White House for Prince Charles and Princess Anne by special invitaon of the President. Gary has made more than 50 television appearances and has performed in a Made for TVmovie. PBS will be airing a special in August 2001 in which Gary appeared. Gary Pucke6 and The Union Gap achieved prominence worldwide. "Young Girl" was reissued by popular request in England where it reached number one and achieved a Silver Record Award for the second ?me. This is a full six years aer the song was ini?ally released. The Gary Pucke6 and The Union Gap's "Greatest Hits" album is one of CBS's best selling "Collector's Series" albums today. Gary was a founding member of the incredibly successful "Happy Together" Tour Playing to sold out performances in over 100 ci?es naonwide. Gary was invited to tour with the Monkees on their naonal reunion tour, which established itself as the major box office success of the 1986 touring season. In 1992 he went to Europe and recorded "In Europe ", now released in the US in 2001. In August 2001, Gary released his first ever Christmas CD, " At Christmas ". Gary performs to standing room only crowds doing over 150 performances each year He currently resides in Clearwater Florida with his wife and family. Silver Eagle USA Discography by Mike Callahan, David Edwards & Patrice Eyries © 2018 by Mike Callahan Silver Eagle Discography Silver Eagle was a Canadian company headquartered near Toronto at 115 Apple Creek Blvd., Markham, Ontario, Canada. The label was a subsidiary of LaBuick & Associates Media, Inc., and label President was Ed LaBuick. The Media company specialized in TV marketing, and in addition to Silver Eagle also promoted Time-Life. In addition to LPs, Cassettes, and CDs, Silver Eagle also released videos. They established an office in the US at 4 Centre Drive, Orchard Park, NY (later, 777 N. Palm Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, CA), and often licensed product from the Special Products Divisions of the major record labels. They typically would pre-sell an album using 2-minute TV spots in stations across the country, then use that demand to place product in retail stores. They had their own manufacturing plant and distribution system, and according to LaBuick, sold many millions of albums. LaBuick later became head of the Music Division and Special Products Division of the major Quality Label in Canada. Note: All distributed by Silver Eagle unless noted otherwise.
