An ongoing relationship is kept with investors on all phases of their projects, informing on relevant economic reforms, assisting and fa- cilitating local negotiations and assuring a streamlined settlement and contributing to eliminate “context specific” costs - unexpected procedural burdens / red tape brought on investors. The Agency has the necessary authority to intervene at the highest level, and to recommend changes in regulations and practices.

Based on a regular Customers Quality of Services Survey the Agency develops specific programs within aftercare services to investors thus assuming that existing investors are partners in investment developments in Portugal.
