We recently released Delhi Belly in mainstream cinemas in Hong Kong and we have seen an encouraging response. At UTV, we send our movies to film festivals in our focus markets and The Shanghai International Film Festival is a perfect platform to showcase our movies and to get an opportunity for 3 movies is a rare honour!" says Amrita Pandey, Executive Director - Syndication, International Distribution & Disney Media Distribution, Studios, Disney UTV About the films: Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu: ‘EMAET’ is a light hearted, tragicomedy about a guy in his mid-twenties, going through a breakdown in his personal as well as work life. Rahul Kapoor (Imran Khan), 26, loses his job as an architect in Vegas and by a twist of fate, he meets Riana Braganza (Kareena Kapoor), a quick- witted hairstylist, who is everything he isn't. Will this friendship turn to love? Produced by Dharma Productions and UTV Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Shakun Batra and stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor and released worldwide on 10 Feb 2012. Dhobi Ghat: Dhobi Ghat (Mumbai Diaries) is the story of four people from very different backgrounds, whose worlds intersect and leave them forever altered. As they find themselves drawn into compelling relationships, the city finds it's way into the crevices of their lives, separating them even as it brings them closer... Fragments of their experience - seen through a naive video diary, black and white photographic images and painting - form a portrait of Mumbai and its people bound together as they journey through longing, loneliness, loss and love. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, the film is directed by Kiran Rao and stars Aamir Khan, Prateik Babbar and Monica Dogra and released worldwide on 21 Jan 2011. Bollywood: The Greatest Love Story Ever Told (Documentary): We love it. We hate it. We see it as regressive. We see it as modern. Melodramatic or Mythic? Bollywood. Some say it's the only culture that holds India together. Others say it's the most corrupting influence on Indians and should be banished from their shores. A love affair that has lasted over 70 years between almost 2 billion people worldwide. Not only does it refuse to stop, it keeps on growing. Embracing it's most important, it's most vilified, it's most loved element: the song and dance. No Bollywood film needs to be called a musical. It needs no such excuse. It just is one. Regardless of the genre. Does Bollywood reflect the changing history and moralities of one of the largest and youngest democracies in the world? Produced by Shekhar Kapur and Trishya Screwvala, Film makers, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Jeff Zimbalist try to analyze Bollywood but instead give in to it's overpowering beat and sensuality, preferring to give you an experience of Bollywood. They leave it to you to decide. For how do you define a love affair?
