Delta Capital Myanmar (“Delta Capital”) is a leading Myanmar-focused private equity fund manager. Delta Capital provides growth capital to leading entrepreneurs and businesses active across key growth sectors of Myanmar’s frontier economy.
Delta Capital was formed in 2013. Its first fund, Myanmar Opportunities Fund I, has made five investments and its second fund, Myanmar Opportunities Fund II, has made two investments to date. The company has asset under management of over USD 110 M.
Delta Capital has a team of dedicated investment professionals with solid experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting and legal practice.
The Role
The company is looking for a bright and ambitious candidate to work as Associate. The Associate will work closely with the Fund Management, other Associates and Analysts. He/she will be given extensive responsibilities for handling research projects, financial analysis, due diligence and monitoring, producing presentations and reports, and helping and coordinating more junior members of the team. The company has high ESG standards and the candidate should be enthusiastic about responsible investing and having a positive impact on Myanmar.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work under experienced management and with a team of highly qualified and motivated local and foreign professionals. The chosen candidate will be an integral part of the Fund team and will participate in all essential parts of investments analysis - structuring - execution, as well as monitoring and exit. The candidate should be highly reliable and have strong work ethic.
The Responsibilities
• Conduct research on sectors, and due diligence on target and portfolio investments • Create and analyze detailed financial models • Support Fund Management in driving investment processes, assist in analyzing - structuring - executing transactions, and monitoring investments • Support Fund Management in monitoring investments • Create and prepare presentations and reports for Fund Management and Fund investors on overall fund performance and individual portfolio investments performance • Support communication with stakeholders • Support junior team members
The Qualification Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in investment banking, M&A or private equity; knowledge of the Myanmar market a plus • Degree from leading university, preferably with concentration in Business - ideally major in Finance, Accounting or Economics - with an excellent academic record; MBA and/or CFA qualification a plus • Robust financial and analytical skill set, must have strong financial modelling experience • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations to business leaders • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and team player a must • Demonstrate great attention to detail • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively, meet tight deadlines and keep composure under pressure • High degree of intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic (integrity, trustworthiness, professionalism) • Fluency in spoken and written English, knowledge of Myanmar a plus • Open to local and international candidates

The Qualification Requirements
• 1+ year experience in investment banking, M&A or private equity preferred; inexperienced hire with appropriate academic background will also be considered; knowledge of the Myanmar market a plus • Degree from leading university, preferably with concentration in Business - ideally major in Finance, Accounting or Economics - with an excellent academic record • Robust financial and analytical skill set, must have strong financial modelling skills • Experience creating reports and giving presentations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and team player a must • Demonstrate great attention to detail • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively, meet tight deadlines and keep composure under pressure • High degree of intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic (integrity, trustworthiness, professionalism) • Fluency in spoken and written English and Myanmar
