With the impending end to staple “Parks and Recreation” NBC’s Comedy Block is in need of a fresh show to bolster it’s youth audience and reinforce their propensity to promote creative original shows.
Enter Fairview, a new twist on the group of friends living in the city sitcom, where the young people aren’t in the city at all and aren’t really friends (yet). They’re old high school pals living in their old stomping grounds in middle-of-nowhere Fairview, California; some by choice, others not so much. Title: Fairview Tagline: Welcome Home, Kids.
THE BASICS Genre: Single Camera Situational Comedy, Ensemble Cast Technology: Single Camera Situational Comedy, Ensemble Cast Target group: 18-35 men and women
