Unlike many on the list, my number 1 has not played league or even VFL footy yet his dominance cannot be questioned. The fact that he kicked seven goals in a quarter on the man listed at number seven is testament to his ability. Such an exercise is obviously fraught with difficulty and I must stress that many of your tagging types, disciplined backmen and consummate team players have been omitted for more flashy, marquee type players. The weather was perfect for golf and 21 teams participated. A big thank you to all who participated and to all who assisted to make this such a great event. New EFC Football Manager Josh Mahoney made an impressive debut as a member of prominent EFC Corporate Supporter Tim Donohue’s event winning team along with James Esslemont and David Condon. Second place this year was taken by another prominent EFC Corporate supporter Lyle Meaney’s team which included Lyle, James Fletcher, Damien Kerr and 400 game EFC legend Dustin Fletcher. Best individual score was James Esslemont on 50 points. Jake Stringer finished second on 48 points with Dustin Fletcher and Lyle Meaney sharing 3rd place on 47 points. EFC were represented by a team of current day players comprising Jake Stringer, Devon Smith, Darcy Parish and Jayden Laverde. EFC were also represented by a team including Xavier Campbell and Nick Ryan.
