APPENDICES, INTRODUCTION AFTER reading Colonel Chippindall's Memoirs of Lieu tenant-Colonel Samuel Gledhill, and the late Mr. Jackson's article on the Richmond Family, it struck me that it might be interesting if I were to try and piece together some further notes on our family history, and the outcome of this idea is embodied in Notes on our Family History.
