Biography

David Reyne has graced Australian television screens for three decades, Follow David constantly building on an impressive body of work as a host, reporter, actor, Instagram writer, producer and musician.

For over 25 years David has been travelling the world for Australia’s longest running and most successful prime-time travel program, Getaway (Nine). It is Further here that he has earned himself a reputation as Australia’s most incisive travel Information reporter. David was also the host of The Wind Down on smoothfm in Melbourne and Sydney.

As an actor, David has appeared in movies, theatre and television. His credits include The Man From Snowy River, The Flying Doctor (Nine) and Sweet and Sour (ABC), for which he won the Silver Logie for Best New Talent in 1984.

As a musician, David was the drummer with the multi-platinum selling Chantoozies, and he was also the original drummer for Australian Crawl.

David is a husband of marathon duration, a muddled parent, a golfer of astonishing inability, a fair-weather surfer, a raconteur of delight and surprise and a feverish explorer of whatever may take him beyond the next rise and around the next swamp.
