Welcome to Hobby Farm, the small adult-only campsite on the . We have no reception so, if you are camping please just enter the site, choose your pitch …. and then start to unpack and unwind. If you are staying in one of our Shepherd’s Huts, Otter’s Nest is to the right of the pond and Fox’s Den is to the left. Badger’s Retreat is at the top looking down onto the pond.

CAMPERS IN TOP FIELD, SHEPHERD HUTS IN THE LOWER FIELD

Take a look in our Information Hut which is the white hut to the right by the entrance gate. You’ll also find a phone charging point and a communal fridge freezer in there.

CAMPSITE INFORMATION

PARKING Park your vehicle at your pitch if camping. If you are staying in one of our shepherd’s huts then please park at the top by the gate on the hard standing.

CAMPERS’ TOILETS AND SHOWERS We have 2 showers and 2 toilets in the top field. Please ensure they are thoroughly cleaned following your use for yours and other guests’ safety. Cleaning cloths and sanitizer are provided. All toilets and showers will be given additional cleaning throughout the day by Tom or another cleaner.

EXERCISING DOGS Behind the bottom pond, there is a walkway which will take you up to our top field. This is ideal for exercising dogs away from campers.

POP UP TENT PERSONAL TOILET We have 2 pop up tents with portable toilet inside which you can have for your stay on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. This can be erected by you at your pitch for sole use throughout your stay. Please clean after use with the hosepipe provided at the top shower block.

CHEMICAL WASTE We have a chemical point available for disposal located behind the toilet and shower in the top field.

WASHING UP Located just in front of the toilet/shower facility in the top field.

COMMUNAL FRIDGE/FREEZER The communal fridge/freezer is located by the right side of the white information hut near the site entrance.

PHONE SIGNAL We don’t have WIFI here at the campsite but there is good mobile phone signal.

BBQs/FIREPITS We sell wood and kindling. If bringing your own BBQ, please ensure it is elevated from the grass pitch and ensure is well away from tents when lit.

FISHING POND You are welcome to fish in our pond with your own fishing rod. Please return fish at all times. You are also welcome to use the boat but please note that is at your own risk. No swimming allowed.

QUIET TIME Please respect other campers at all times. Quiet time is from 9 pm every evening.

Hobby Farm Campsite is situated on the edge of . The hamlet of Ryall is just a short walk up the footpath but this has no shop or pub. The nearest shop is in Morcombelake and the most direct route is via Ryall and then to follow Ryall Road all the way to the A35.

From A35 à East: and West Bay (4 miles)

BUSES The nearest bus stop to the campsite is in Morcombelake near to Felicities Farm Shop. Buses run to Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Axminster to the west and Bridport and West Bay to the east. There are two bus services running approximately hourly, the X51 and the X53 “Jurassic Coasters”.
