E.1 Four sections have been produced in CAD to inform the assessment. The site levels have been produced from:

◼ 1m Lidar DTM data11 at 1m (using OS terrain 512 resampled to 1m where Lidar data was not available) to provide contours for the site and its surrounds;

◼ Shepherd Gilmour proposed site levels and finished floor levels (2017); and

◼ The bund proposed by LUC as a part of LUC's Landscape Strategy Plan GA-001 (set out in Appendix F).

E.2 The location of buildings and Green Infrastructure are based on the Illustrative Masterplan 30926- FE-042U [CD 24.6].

E.3 Existing vegetation heights have been estimated from 3D data in Google Earth and site work.

E.4 Proposed planting is shown at the heights agreed in the Landscape Statement of Common Ground (i.e. 10-13m at year 15), but the planting symbology is indicative only (the sections have been produced in CAD focussing on technical accuracy).

E.5 The cross section lines are shown in Drawing 11249_LD-SEC_001 overleaf and aim to take in views from:

◼ the M6/ A49 from the west;

◼ Haydock Park Farm and A580 from the south;

◼ Edge of Golborne and Sandy Lane footpath to the east; and

◼ Haydock racecourse from the north.
