Kim Jenson SVP, COO, Private Client Group

Kim Jenson is Chief Operating Officer of Raymond James Financial, Private Client Group. Among her responsibilities is to prioritize solutions and services for advisors and clients with a focus on productivity, growth and operational excellence. She leads several internal teams, including Planning & Strategy, Associate , Investment Central, PCG Education, Recruiting and Succession Planning.

Jenson has more than 30 years of financial services experience, most recently as Managing Director and Market Head in UBS Financial Services’ Chicago market. She previously served as Midwest Regional Director and as Chief of Staff for the CEO of UBS Americas, and spent 15 years with Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis. There she held leadership roles in trust, product management, training and recruiting, and field management. She began her career with Norwest Minnesota.

A graduate of Minnesota State University, she has also completed programs at the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School and the Center for Creative Leadership at Duke Fuqua School of Business. Jenson holds several securities, life and health licenses, as well as the Certified Cash Manager designation. She has received multiple awards throughout her career, including the New York YWCA Women of Distinction, Chicago Biz Journal Woman of Influence, and the Ed Connolly Leadership Award. Kim has served on the board of trustees for the Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Public Radio, Chicago Foundation for Women, and currently serves on the Dean's Advisory Board for the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg Campus.

Kim and her husband, Tom Elsen, reside in St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoys running, travel, sailing and spending time with her family in Minnesota.
