Retired Company CEO and his wife and co-author, Suzy, spoke at Dominican University of California on May 14 at the Institute for Leadership Studies’ Spring Author Series, presented in partnership with Book Passage.

They appeared in conversation with Steve Bennett, who served key management roles at GE for 23 years.

Jack, who was chief executive officer at GE from 1981-2001, and Suzy, a journalist and author, discussed their book, The Real-Life MBA: Your No-BS Guide to Winning the Game, Building a Team, and Growing Your Career.

In their new book, Jack and Suzy Welch explain not only how to succeed but also to have fun in business today. The speaker series, a cooperative effort between Dominican’s Institute for Leadership Studies and Book Passage, features many of the country's leading figures from the worlds of business, politics, entertainment, academia, and literature. The series has entertained and educated thousands of Marin County and San Francisco Bay Area residents.
