Photography Photography used to be an expensive hobby, tallying camera, film and developing costs. With the advent of smart phones, it’s even more empowering to take a crack at shooting our own images. We can snap as many shots as we want and delete as we like without the pressure to turn out professional- looking images. To be successful in photography, it is important to have a clear vision of what you want to do. Photography can be self-taught. It is a visual art form that uses elements of science. So it can be perfected by making mistakes and learning from those mistakes. Photography classes are not always about learning how to shoot images. Sometimes skills like learning how to post-process are just as important and taught in class. There are many different classes taught which are tailor-made for photographers.
