Despite the challenges, the 2020 giving year proved to be another successful year for Blazer Boosters and UAB Athletics. Blazer Boosters is committed to growing revenue through philanthropic initiatives with the purpose of offsetting scholarship costs, securing resources for facility projects and enhancing sport-specific operating budgets. With this mission in mind, the Blazer Boosters staff will be working to make 2021 another record year. Top priorities for 2021 include:

1. Continue to grow the Blazer Scholarship Fund toward covering the annual scholarship costs. 2. Secure resources to fully fund the following facility projects: A. Football Operations Facility B. Blazer Boosters priority points is a ranking system that creates a fair and equitable method for recognizing Blazer Boosters members. Priority points are earned through your generous support of Blazer Boosters and UAB Athletics. A current year annual gift tied to priority seating is required to activate your priority points for ranking and allocation. Over time, Blazer Boosters priority points will allow UAB Athletics to prioritize certain benefits to donors who give consistently for both annual giving programs and restricted (sport-specific, endowments, capital) gifts.

UAB is set to make Protective Stadium its home this fall. How to secure seats in Protective Stadium Order of Selection

Make a commitment to season tickets for UAB Football at Protective Stadium Within each group, the order of selection will be determined based upon the Blazer in one or more of the following ways: Boosters Priority Point System. 10 2021-22 UAB MEN’S BASKETBALL Blazer fans have the opportunity to purchase men’s basketball season tickets in premier locations in Bartow Arena. Priority seating requires an annual Blazer Scholarship Fund membership to be completed prior to the start of the season. The Ever Loyal Society recognizes those who make capital commitments of $25,000 and above to the UAB Athletics Foundation through Blazer Boosters. The Ever Loyal Society helps position UAB Athletics to compete at the highest level nationally and is essential to the growth of the UAB Department of Athletics. Gift commitments to the Ever Loyal Society are above and beyond any ticket related annual membership and can be fulfilled over a multi-year period.

Members of the Ever Loyal Society gain access to exclusive stewardship and naming opportunities. Naming opportunities and associated benefits are based on the individual project. All contributions to the Ever Loyal Society are tax-deductible. Sport Gift Accounts Donors to sport gift accounts contribute to the enhancement of a specific program’s operating budget. Members are not eligible for benefits such as priority seating or parking as outlined in the earlier pages of this brochure. However, sport specific donors are eligible for non-tangible benefits outlined by the sport in which their restricted contributions are made. B Club The B Club is the official organization within UAB Athletics that recognizes and coordinates former Blazer student-athletes of all sports to keep them engaged with UAB. Members have the opportunity to reconnect with teammates while helping promote and serve the UAB Department of Athletics.
