Photograph by Ormond Torr Kaka chronicles Over the past few years we have had Lake, with the birds being seen on and off sporadic sightings of kaka in and around from mid August through to early Wanganui and some other places on the November. Was this just a coincidental coastal plain. We don’t know from where aggregation, or was it a family group, either these birds come, but the time of year parent birds and their offspring, or a group suggests that they may be young birds of siblings dispersing together?
