The little maestro , YT , pictured below acknowledging the plaudits of the BDCC army, has been appointed the Clubs Men’s Batting and Fielding coach for season 2013-14. After 13 years of service and coming of a bril- liant Grand final knock of 138 no. it seemed only natural for YT to take on the task of lifting the standard of the Mens batting stocks. After all the spritely ‘21’ year old won’t be around for ever and its time for the young bucks to step up to the standard that Senior Division will require. The other important Coaching announcement is that Frank Olle a Brighton East legend is returning to his old club to take on the role of Men’s bowl- ing coach. The former fearsome 1st X1 opening bowler with Brighton East will return to work with our young seam bowlers in particular. Frank has also promised to throw the whites back on and we welcome his return to the field with us. He’s still got a lot to offer both with the ball and his lead- ership. What’s in a name?
