Due Monday, June 7 Tuxedos (cleaned and in a garment bag or dry cleaning bag) to be shipped to Los Angeles. Clearly mark your tux with your name. Do not pack shirts, socks, bow ties, etc.

Make sure your suitcase and instrument are clearly marked with name, address, cell phone Make sure your concert black is in your carry on (ladies’ dresses, mens’ bow ties and shirts, etc.)

12:30 PM Depart for O’Hare International

3:00 PM Arrive at Chicago O’Hare International Airport Check in at the Jet Blue counter using your unique eTicket #. Have your ID ready for check in and security. Move through security and onto the departure gate. Eat dinner at the airport or on the plane.

5:30 PM Depart Chicago on Jet Blue flight 937.

7:55 PM Arrive at Long Beach Airport (CHANGE TIME ZONE) LOS ANGELES TIME Collect your luggage and instruments. Meet a World Projects representative in baggage claim, and proceed to your coaches. 10:00 – 11:30 AM Disney Soundtrack Session Workshop/Magic Music Days Afterwards, store instruments on the coach and return into the park for free time. Relatives can meet you at the Toon Town gates as we enter.

10:45 – 11:05 AM Sound check on stage at Walt Disney Concert Hall Following your sound check, store belongings in your warm up room. We have ordered Subway boxed lunches to be delivered after the sound check.

1:00 PM Concert begins

1:35 PM Normal West High School Wind Ensemble Adjudicated performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Go Team Go! Following the performance, quickly pack up your instruments and proceed to the audience to enjoy the rest of the performances.

4:00 PM Concert ends After the concert you will have an opportunity to change clothes and store your instruments on your designated coach. Coaches will transport us to dinner.

4:30 PM Dinner at ESPN Zone (at L.A. Live) This is a group dinner – fees were collected in June!

5:30 to 6:40 PM Visit the Grammy Museum Admission has been paid – fees were collected in June!

6:45 PM Load coaches and depart for Walt Disney Concert Hall

7:00 PM Arrive at Walt Disney Concert Hall for the evening performance

10:30 AM Arrive at the museum (take the tram from coaches to museum)

11:00 – 12:30 PM Enjoy touring the museum in small groups The Getty Center in Los Angeles presents the Getty's collection of Western art from the Middle Ages to the present against a backdrop of dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens, and breathtaking views.

12:30 PM Transfer to the Santa Monica Pier Enjoy some of the many rides on the pier, enjoy the beach, or shop on the 3rd Street Promenade (any additional costs on own). 4:00 PM Load coaches and depart for Universal CityWalk for shopping and dinner on own

7:00 PM Load coaches and depart on a guided coach tour of Los Angeles including Hollywood, the Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills, and Melrose Ave.
