MAY 25 START: Armenteros pitched a season-high 6.0 innings on May 25 vs. Syracuse, allowing four runs on five hits with four strikeouts. He retired the first seven batters he faced before a one-out triple in the third inning which was followed by a two-run homer from opposing Jerad Eickoff, the first by a pitcher in Frontier Field’s history. Three straight doubles followed the home run allowing the Mets to score two more runs, pushing their lead to 4-0. Armenteros regrouped after the third and retired the final 10 batters he faced.

2020: Missed the entire season in the organization after having surgery to remove a bone spur from his elbow on March 13. He was officially placed on the 10-day on July 23 and transferred to the 60-day IL on September 5. Armenteros was placed on waivers and claimed by Arizona on November 20 before being placed on waivers again and claimed by Washington on December 7.

2019: Had three different stints with Houston. He made his Major League debut on June 14 vs. Toronto. He became the first Astro to record a save in his MLB debut after throwing 3.0 scoreless innings. Armenteros won his first MLB start on July 21 vs. Texas, allowing one run on two hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 5.0 innings. He was named the Pitcher of the Week with Round Rock on July 14 after throwing 6.0 scoreless innings with five hits, a walk, and seven strikeouts on July 12 vs. Iowa.
