Reporting After an athlete has checked in, he/she must report to the clerking area, 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO RACE TIME, for final heat and lane assignment and to receive hip number(s) and final race instructions. Athletes and teams that fail to report risk being scratched. Relays must report as a team. Scratches Race day scratches are appreciated. This helps us run a more efficient meet and helps us to condense races. To report a scratch simply go to athlete check‐in and report the athlete and event wishing to scratch. Athletes who fail to check‐in a minimum of 30 minutes before their race will be scratched. If an athlete is scratched for failure to check‐in an alternative race or opportunity may not exist. Field Event Check‐in All field event athletes must check‐in directly to the head official at each event. Athletes will be allowed on the facility 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Coaches Elite & Collegiate Coordinator Ron Kamaka [email protected] (909) 274‐5367 Wednesday 4/16 Ron will be at the coordinators trailer or clerk area from 11:00‐2:00pm only. This is a good time to have corrections to names, affiliations, times, and sections made or to get clarity on race information. Last minute scratches are welcomed, especially in lane events. To reduce work volume please refrain from requesting race changes from one heat to another in races without lanes. Thursday 4/17 Ron will be at the coordinators trailer from 10am to 12pm, then from 3pm to 7pm or as needed. The morning session is perfect for emergency issues that must get done before a Thursday evening race. After 12pm Ron will no longer address Thursday race matters. The afternoon session will be reserved for issues related to Friday and/or Saturday. For these issues, please plan to see Ron during the afternoon session. Friday 4/18 Ron will be at the coordinator’s trailer from 9am to 1pm, then again from 3pm to 9pm. Lane races will be his primary focus. Saturday 4/19 Ron will be at the coordinator’s trailer from 11am to 2pm, then as needed. Ron is also part of the production team and so will split time between duties. Communicating with Ron will require you to communicate with the clerk who will then contact Ron via radio for necessary action. Mt.
