■“Taiko No Tatsujin” featured overseas and the upcoming eSports tournament “Taiko No Tatsujin” is a based on traditional Japanese drums where players strike the drums to the beat of the music being played. The game is easy to play, and features cute and charming characters that have attracted many fans, both young and old, to the game series. Since the game’s introduction to the arcades in 2001, the game series has made its way to home consoles, to smartphones as a gaming app, and more. The series has also made an impact overseas with the home console version hitting the US in 2004 and Asia in 2015, and continuing its spread into the worldwide scene from 2018.
